St. Botolph's Town (Rustic Brown Ale) - 5.9% Abv
Pours a clear brown, with a head that fades quickly. Smooth is the word I think best describes this beer. Hints of brown bread/ toast come to mind when drinking this with a pleasantly light chocolate and caramel sweetness on the back end. No discernible bitterness in this one, just enough to balance the malt. Its exceptional balance between body and sweetness make it one of my favorite fall beers.
