Heavy Mettle - Double IPA (9.3% abv)

This beer pours a hazy gold with a fluffy white head, and leaves great lacing on the glass. Heavy Mettle has a big citrus nose with pineapple, grapefruit, and pine. The taste has loads of juicy citrus flavors with a touch of pine on the end but not too bitter. Body is very well balanced for a double IPA. It's a nice medium bodied beer with just enough malt to support all of the great hop flavor.
Another incredible IPA from Trillium. Brilliant, juicy citrus flavor without being too overwhelming. An incredibly drinkable DIPA making you forget it's 9.3% abv.
