FB-90 - Double IPA (9% abv)

Trillium Brewing (Boston, Ma)

This DIPA pours a slightly hazy, copper with a thin white head. It smells brightly of grapefruit and pine. The taste is quite bitter upfront followed by grapefruit and pear with a dry finish. It has medium carbonation and a more substantial body than Trillium's other DIPAs (which tend to be surprisingly light for the DIPA style). I thoroughly enjoyed this Double IPA but it doesn't quite stand up to Trillium's other fantastic beers I've had recently.

89/100
