Evil Twin Yang. Imperial Taiji IPA. Danish brewery but brewed with Two Roads in Connecticut. 10% ABV.

After yesterday, you had to see this coming, right? Now they make separate Yin and Yang beers, as well as a combined Yin & Yang. They said you could mix these two, but I figured I would enjoy them on their own. Glad I did, because both of them were excellent. Next time perhaps I will mix them.

Served chilled in a 12 oz bottle and poured into a pint glass. Pours an orange-amber color with a three finger white foamy head. Smells are of citrus, hops and earth. Carbonation is moderate with a medium body. Taste is sweet and earthy, with hints of citrus peel and hops. Aftertaste is pretty bitter, and lingers for some time. Nothing original here, but a well made beer.

Yin was definitely my favorite of the two, but this was a pretty solid IIPA.

90/100
$3.99/bottle

Hey Scott,

This is Vinnie, Harry's friend. Been following your blog and do frequently read it. Because of you I am back on my craft beer grind and on my way to a beer belly. Keep posting the reviews. Just a thought, as you gain more readers, I suggest you allowing a search function on the top of the website that way its easier for myself and others to see if you have previously reviewed a beer. I do value your opinion and would rather visit this blog as opposed to spending my time on Beer Advocate. I like how you are concise and thorough. Keep it up man and best of luck.

Vinnie-

Thanks for the comment-I'm so glad you've been reading and enjoying it. It is awesome to hear that you prefer this over BA-never thought I'd hear that!

I really like the idea about the search function. I would like to implement that at some point soon. Unfortunately that feature is only available on a more upgraded version of the site so once I get more followers I may purchase that capability.

If you have any beers you'd like to see reviewed let me know.

Scott
