Weyerbacher Imperial Pumpkin Ale. Weyerbacher Brewing Company. Easton, PA. Pumpkin ale. 8% ABV.

Pours a reddish/brown-amber color with a two finger light brown head. Smells are sweet and pumpkiny. Hints of brown sugar, nutmeg, caramel and allspice. Carbonation is moderate with a medium body. Taste is like the smell. The pumpkin taste leads the way, but the caramel, nutmeg, allspice and brown sugar/cinnamon is also there. Aftertaste is somewhat spicy.

Overall this is one of the better pumpkin beers that I've had that didn't come in a 22 oz bomber. Immediately after finishing this, I went to the store to pick up one more bottle, just in case I couldn't find it again this season. Highly recommended!

92/100
$3.79/12 oz bottle
