Singlecut Billy Full Stack Double IPA. Astoria, Queens, NYC. American Double IPA (DIPA). 8.6% ABV.

Purchased on tap at Good Beer in the East Village and served in a goblet. Pours a murky copper-amber color with a frothy two finger white foam head. Smells are of grapefruit and citrus, with hints of pine. Carbonation is moderate to high with a medium body. This beer is incredibly hoppy, bitter and citrusy, with a piney/oniony flavor to it. Aftertaste is citrusy and bitter.

Overall this beer is an excellent version of a DIPA from a relatively new brewery. This actually stacks up pretty highly with other DIPAs that I've had. If you haven't checked out Singlecut yet, make sure you do if you come to NYC. Additionally, Good Beer down in the Village is one of the better craft beer stores in the city. Excellent single bottle selection and great beers on tap.

93/100
$7/pint at Good Beer NYC
