Fisherman's Pumpkin Stout

Fisherman's Pumpkin Stout. Cape Ann Brewing. Gloucester, MA. 7% ABV.

Served chilled from a 12 oz bottle and poured into a snifter. Pours a dark brown to almost black color with a thin tan foam head. Smells are of pumpkin, roasted malts and toffee. Carbonation is moderate to light with a medium body. Taste is like the smell. Some pumpkin but not overwhelming. The roasted malts are there and there are hints of dark fruits and other spices. Not too much of an aftertaste.

Overall a decent pumpkin beer, but nothing terribly special. It was nice to mix in a stout for my pumpkin week but Warlock was way better.

82/100

$2/bottle
