Scaled - Double Dry Hopped IPA (7.0% abv)
Trillium Brewing (Boston, MA)

Scaled, like most beers from Trillium, pours a hazy, deep yellow. The smell is similar to their other hoppy offerings with an abundance of tropical fruits (mangoes, guava, papaya) leading the way followed by some sweet pine. It tastes just how you’d hope it would, similar to the smell and with very little residual bitterness left on your palate after each sip. Another outstanding, juicy, well balanced IPA from Trillium.

It’s too difficult to rank my favorite Trillium beers without trying them all side by side because they’re all so well done and I find myself saying “this is my new favorite beer” each time I have one. It’s safe to say, if you're ever lucky enough find yourself at either their Fort Point or Canton breweries you can’t go wrong with whatever they’ve got in stock.

97/100
