Kevin Scott: Celebration

Celebration Fresh Hop IPA (6.8% abv)
Sierra Nevada (Chico, CA)

Celebration pours a deep amber with a thin beige head. The smell is full of evergreen and pine, which seems fitting given the festive label, with some sweet caramel malt in the background. It tastes just like the smell, but in reverse. The sweet caramel malt flavor leads the way followed by a mellow evergreen/ pine aftertaste that stays with you long after you sip. This beer is my favorite seasonal release from Sierra Nevada and is always a staple in my fridge around the holidays. It's a great, easy drinking IPA for the start of these colder months.
