Smuttynose Pumpkin Ale. Hampton, NH. Pumpkin Ale. 5.84% ABV.

Served chilled from a 12 oz bottle and poured into a pint glass. Pours an orange-caramel color with a two finger off-white foam head. Smells are not terribly strong. A faint hint of pumpkin, with a bit of spices. Carbonation is moderate to light with a medium to light body. Taste is of pumpkin, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Aftertaste is mostly spices with a little bit of pumpkin.

This beer is nothing too special. I typically love Smuttynose but this disappointed me. If anything, it was too watery and the pumpkin flavor was not strong enough. In terms of pumpkin beers, there are many other good ones to enjoy.

77/100
