Cisco Pumple Drumkin

Cisco Pumple Drumkin. Nantucket, MA. Pumpkin ale. 6% ABV.

Pours a light brown to dark amber color with a thin white foam head that disappears quickly. Smells are of pumpkin, brown sugar and some sweet caramel. Carbonation is moderate to high with a medium body. Taste is of pumpkin with a graham cracker maltiness. Aftertaste does not linger and is mostly spices.

Overall this is a solid pumpkin beer from a great MA brewery. It doesn't score too highly from the BA viewers but the bros love it. I concur with the latter.

Hope everyone enjoyed pumpkin week. I have a few more pumpkin beers in the inventory that have yet to be reviewed so I'll be sure to post those before fall is over. Additionally, I have some exciting articles coming up in the coming weeks. Look forward to my pumpkin week in review, my top beers of summer 2014, articles about some more collectible items, and a tribute to the beginning of Oktoberfest.

91/100
